CALEIDOSCOPIO ROCK USA ANNI 60
Per l’orizzonte musicale di riferimento di una garage band americana anni ‘60 di liceali… il “management” poteva essere “homemade” il più delle volte. In ogni caso il “manager sveglio” (anche in presenza di un “budget” ridotto all’osso) era quasi sempre molto attivo, audace e capace sul versante di “gigs” e di date delle esibizioni sul territorio. Le “venues” dovevano essere le più diverse; più erano variegate ed assortite, maggiore poteva essere il raggio di azione della band sulle aree limitrofe e oltre. Nella presente sezione discografica compaiono alcune bands che si mostrarono attive principalmente su tipologie di “venues” tipiche della fascia di età dei teenagers o al massimo degli anni del college (teen clubs, feste di fine liceo, feste di college, frat parties, feste in piscina, animazioni musicali “a latere” di eventi sportivi universitari o di premiazioni), quando “in primis” la componente del ritmo la faceva da padrone…
