Eccoci infine giunti alla venticinquesima ed ultima sezione della discografia garage rock a stelle e strisce del 1966 riservata alle bands meno note al grande pubblico. Con quest’ultima tappa si chiude un viaggio articolato e un’indagine su una realtà tuttora ingiustamente poco rivalutata, quella del garage rock “minore”, che tuttavia riserva continuamente sorprese e scoperte inaspettate per studiosi e cultori del genere. C’è inoltre da rilevare un’altra realtà (ancor meno studiata): quella delle demo e degli acetati (ossia le “prove di stampa” preliminari dei vinili, prodotte per valutare l’esito della preparazione del disco matrice). In questa sezione conclusiva s
ono state inserite anche alcune bands di piccolo cabotaggio che riuscirono ad incidere 45 giri in assoluta economia di risorse e con esiti musicali e discografici a volte sinceramente mediocri; la loro presenza risulta tuttavia efficace, poiché costituiscono un ideale ponte di collegamento proprio con tutta quell’area delle “prove di stampa” suddette…
